Imam Syafi'i Islamic Boarding School once again held the Tahfizh Al-Qur'an examination for its final year students. This annual event took place on May 12-13, 2025, at the Sheikh Sabah Mosque, located within the Imam Syafi'i boarding school complex.
The Tahfizh examination aims to assess the memorization competence of the students, which they have achieved throughout their years of study at the pesantren. In addition to being a final evaluation, this examination also serves as a means of fostering the students' mental strength and sense of responsibility towards the trust of memorizing the Qur'an.
Each student was tested directly by the Tahfizh Coordinator of Imam Syafi'i Islamic Boarding School, Ustadz Fakhrurozi, who thoroughly examined aspects of memorization, fluency, accuracy, as well as etiquette in reciting the Qur'an.
Through this activity, it is hoped that the final year students can strengthen their Qur'anic memorization while preparing themselves to continue their mission as guardians of the Qur'an within the broader community.
