Pesantren Imam Syafi'i joyfully welcomes the arrival of new students for the 2024-2025 academic year. The welcoming ceremony, held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, was attended by the students and their parents.
The new students were accompanied by their parents, who were given the opportunity to get to know the pesantren environment better and equip themselves with information about Pesantren Imam Syafi'i. The event began with a speech from the pesantren leader, who explained the vision, mission, various activities, and facilities available at the pesantren. This event took place at the Masjid Pesantren Imam Syafi'i from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
After the information session, parents were allowed to escort their sons to their respective dormitories and help them set up the necessary equipment. This was a very meaningful moment for both the new students and their parents, as they could ensure that their children were ready to start a new life at the pesantren.
The next day, the Orientation Program (MPLS) began and lasted for three days. The MPLS activities were followed by all new students with high enthusiasm. They were introduced to the pesantren environment, rules, and various activities they would participate in while studying at Pesantren Imam Syafi'i. MPLS is also designed to help new students adapt to pesantren life and build good relationships with their fellow students.
With the arrival of these new students, Pesantren Imam Syafi'i hopes to shape a generation that excels in knowledge and morals.
