On Saturday, December 21, 2024, Imam Syafi’i Islamic Boarding School successfully held its first semester closing event for the 2024/2025 academic year. The event, conducted at the Masjid Pesantren Imam Syafi’i, featured a Parenting session with Ustadz Muhammad Thaib, Lc. MA, as the keynote speaker. His talk, titled “Why Do We Educate Our Children?” emphasized the crucial role of parents in supporting education and shaping their children's character.
The event was attended by students’ parents, who also witnessed the awarding ceremony for outstanding students who excelled in their classes. This served as recognition and appreciation for the students' hard work throughout the semester.
The event concluded with the distribution of report cards to the parents. This moment also provided an opportunity for parents to meet directly with their children's homeroom teachers, strengthening the relationship between parents and the school to better support the students' education.
Through this event, it is hoped that the synergy between the school and families will grow stronger to support the development of students into individuals with noble character and outstanding achievements.
