Banda Aceh, 14 August 2024 - Imam Syafi'i Islamic Boarding School has once again made a mark in national competitions. At the Mahrajan Al 'Araby event organized by the Faculty of Arabic Language at UIN Ar-Raniry, representatives from Imam Syafi'i Islamic Boarding School successfully achieved two impressive accolades.
In the Arabic debate competition, the team represented by Rais Syahmi, M. Qaisar At-Taqwa, and Sultan Ariq (students of the 3rd grade Aliyah Religious Studies program) secured second place. This debate is one of the prestigious events that requires participants to be not only proficient in the Arabic language but also possess critical and argumentative thinking skills.
In addition to the debate, Rais Syahmi also demonstrated his excellence in the Qiraatul Kutub competition, where he secured second place, proving his extraordinary ability in reading and understanding classical texts.
