Imam Syafi'i Islamic Boarding School in Sukamakmur Subdistrict successfully held a Ramadan event with the program "Ramadan Together WAHYAIN Season 5" which was attended by hundreds of students. The event took place from the 1st to the 15th of Ramadan 1445 H.
The Vice Dean of Imam Syafi'i Islamic Boarding School, Ust. Fajri.S.Pd.I, as the person in charge of the program, stated that the series included tahsin, memorizing the Quran, memorizing hadiths, completion of Quran recitation, religious lectures, iftar gatherings, and Qiyamulail prayers, which were centered at the Sheikh Shabah Mosque in Imam Syafi'i Sibreh Islamic Boarding School.
Furthermore, Ust. Fajri said that the Ramadan activities with Wahyain had been running for 5 years and received enthusiastic participation from students and their parents. "This activity is very important to be carried out as a routine agenda during Ramadan and educates students to understand the true essence of Ramadan," he said.
"For 15 days, this activity ran smoothly, Alhamdulillah, the targets set were well achieved by the students, especially in the Quran completion program where several students were able to complete it more than once in the 15 days of Ramadan. In the final 3 days, to evaluate the achievement of the targets, the event was closed with the Quran and Hadith Memorization Competition,"Ust. Fajri continued.
The Chairman of the Ramadan Together Wahyain Season 5 committee, Ust. Muhammad Isa, S.Pd., mentioned that the activities started after the congregational dawn prayer until after the afternoon prayer. Furthermore, the students also held iftar gatherings with the community and the academic community of the boarding school.
The "Ramadan Together WAHYAIN Season 5" activities during the 15th Ramadan have ended and were closed on Monday night (25/3) by the Vice Dean of Imam Syafi'I Islamic Boarding School, Ust. Fajri, S.Pd.I, marked by the announcement and distribution of prizes to dozens of students who successfully achieved the activity targets, including the Champion of the most Quran recitations, Champion of religious lectures, Champion of the most recited Hadiths, and Champion of the most Quran memorizations.
