Wednesday, July 26, 2023 – Pesantren Imam Syafi'i warmly welcomes the arrival of new students. As part of the event, a gathering with the parents of the new students is held at the Pesantren Mosque. The event serves not only as a platform for building connections but also as a significant moment to strengthen the bond in educating the students.
In his welcoming address, the Head of Pesantren, Ust. T. Tommy Yanuar Satria, S.Pd.I, M.Ag, sincerely expresses gratitude for the trust placed by the parents in entrusting the education and character development of their children to Pesantren Imam Syafi'i.
Not only that, during the event, the Deputy Head of Pesantren, Ust. Fajri, S.Pd.I, also presented various flagship programs of the pesantren, including teaching and learning activities (KBM), Qur'an memorization (tahfidh), Arabic language learning, and a variety of extracurricular activities aimed at fostering holistic character and creativity among the students.
The program presentation session was interactive, with questions and hopes from the parents of the new students, which were well-received by the pesantren staff. The spirit of collaboration between the pesantren and the students' families becomes a crucial pillar in guiding the students towards a bright future.
After the program presentation session, the event concluded with the new students being escorted to their respective dormitories. The new students appeared cheerful and enthusiastic as they embarked on the initial stage of their educational journey. Parents and dormitory supervisors accompanied the new students, creating a warm and intimate moment that showcased the close collaboration between the pesantren and the students' families.
